The name

紅葉, kōyō

Kōyō means autumn leaves, the red of maples in the fall. The word is brushed in calligraphy on the dining room wall, and the maple leaf is in our logo.

The menu is traditional at heart: tempura, sukiyaki, teriyaki, tonkatsu, udon and donburi, alongside sashimi and sushi rolls. In Koyo's own words: from traditional to modern cuisine.

The rooms

Pine, paper and lantern light.

Sliding shoji screens and knotted pine panels break the restaurant into small rooms. Some are zashiki rooms, set with floor cushions around a low table; others have tables and chairs. A long room seats larger groups.
